Skildring av tur
Gå over brua og følg grusveg til venstre så langt vegen går. Du går gjennom eit gardstun og over på merka sti. Du går vidare i lett skogsterreng gjennom eit unikt landskap når det gjeld biologisk mangfald, arkeologiske funn, geologiske fenomen og kultur, og det er fleire infotavler undervegs. Stien er godt opparbeidd og med bord og benker på utsiktspunkt.
Råd for turen
Vi oppfordrar alle til å ta denne korte turen. Ta med niste og nyt den på ein av dei fine rasteplassane. Hugs bandtvang 1. april – 20. august, men vi oppfordrar til å ha hund i band heile året. Det er forbode med open eld i skog og mark 15. april – 15. september.

Starting point/parking
200 m north of the quay at Herand and on road 550. There is a good car park. Look for the information board here. Parking at own risk.
Description of the hike.
Cross the bridge and follow the gravel road to the left, as far as the road goes. Walk passes the farm buildings and continues on the marked path. The hike is on an easy path which takes you through the woods and a unique area of biological multitude, archaeological findings, geological phenomena, and culture. There are several information boards during the tour. The path is well kept, and there are tables and benches at viewpoints.
Season:
Throughout the year but avoid snow and ice.
Hiking advice:
We suggest that everyone does this short hike. Take a picnic with you and enjoy it at one of the resting spots.
Dogs must be always kept (by law) on a leash between April 1 and August 20.
Open fire is prohibited in the hills and woods between April 15 and September 15.
