Elvelangs 7,6 km rundtur (roundtrip)

Frå Tingstugu går du austover på Sundrevegen, forbi butikkane og ut av sentrum. Følg gangvegen i ca 2 km. Rett etter Sundrevegen nr 155 må du krysse vegen og du kjem inn på ein brei traktorveg/stig. Følg denne til du kjem til Ål Camping. Herifrå følger du Elvelangs vestover til Topcamp Hallingdal. For å koma attende til sentrum følg Myrovege, til høgre ut frå Topcamp. Deretter ta til høgre og inn på Sundrevegen, gå forbi skulane og tilbake til parkeringa.

Undervegs er det satt ut benkar, gapahukar og bålpanner. Det er også fotballbanar og ulike treningsapparat langs turen. Det er tilrettelagt badeplass og fiskeplassar. Universalt utforma stig gjer at dette er ein turstig som burde passe for dei flestre. Postkassa står ved gapahuken ca 200 m vest for Ål Camping.

Om du ikkje ynskjer å gå heilt til Topcamp Hallingdal, kan du frå Bråta Idrettsanlegg gå tilbake til sentrum eller du kan gå under Stasjonsbrua og følgje gangvegen tilbake til sentrum.

From the municipal house walk east on Sundrevegen, past the stores and out of the city area. Continue for about 2 km. Right after Sundrevegen nr 155, cross the road and continue on the tractor road/trail to Ål Camping. From the camping follow the trail "Elvelangs" to Topcamp Hallingdal. To walk back to the minicipal house, from Topcamp Hallingdal, exit right on to Myrovegen and then right on to Sundrevegen.

Along the hike you will find benches, shelters, campfire places, football arena and so on. It is also a bathing spot and a couple of fishing places. It is possible to use a wheelchair or bring your stoller along this hike. The mailbox with the guestbook is placed by the shelter about 200 m west of Ål Camping.

If you do not want to walk all the way to Topcamp Hallingdal it is possible to walk back to the city area from Bråta football arena or after the brigde you walk under (by the train station).
